Don't Worry. Be Happy.

" Blessed are the meek. For, they shall inherit, the earth. " Unless, they are married men. Then, as usual, I do not think they will get a thing ! You, must be realistic. You, have to realize there are differences.
There was this bloke, you see. He spoke to " mates " down the " pub " stating his position. He said he once had " a life " ! It, was hard to believe. Considering his marriage status. The " whys " and " wherefores " put aside, you had to feel for the " poor bastard " ! He lived in his own world. His own " dream-state " !
When you take stock of his continued pronouncement of so-called " happiness " against the odds you must assume the worst. He had to try to convince himself of what was true...and, what was not. The constant reappraisal of his situation could only lead to one conclusion. He was pissed. Or, close, to it. At, the very least.
Mind you, many saw his attempts at " humour " rather beguiling. He put it all out there for the common good. Not afraid of any consequences. Or, repercussions. He was, by some, referred to as the " Local Hero. " He had developed into the " martyr, to a cause " not concerned for personal well-being. Then, he would not do. Would he ?
If, you breathe new life into the circumstances of your life you do get the variety of views others do not. Obviously, this seemed the " Enigma, " to him. Being, just happy, to be " alive. " Or, perhaps he was joking about the extent of invasions into his domain. By, very resistant forces. Probably out of control. Unlike him ?
In the presence of this soul, you felt humble. Due to his lack of " self-worth " ! Yet, it was not encouraged to say he was worth " anything " at all. The irony was never missed. It, did make us laugh. It, has to be said !!
When ordering what is good for you, do you treat this man has a symbol of " peace, and love " or something different ? Hence, moving the " game " on to another level. Where points probably count double. Well, they deserve, to be.
That is it. Where his " world " should be left. To its own " devices. " You, can only take so much of A GOOD THING ? Isn't that always proported to be honest ?
Anyway, one fine day, he completely disappeared,  " off the grid. " Who would have thought that ? He is remembered fondly. Why should that not be ? He gave so much of himself. For, others.
