Crevices
and chasms -
the rocky mountain weeps

Waterfall -
cascading -
from the mountain in my mind

Perennial ryegrass lifts its head
The pet dog sniffs a blade
Anyone for golf

The woods house a bear
Named Pooh
In Devon bookshops occupy my mind

Hummingbirds float free
In time and richest beauty –
Sweet design

Louder – louder
Chirping bird
Shrill echo heard in silence

Hands brush lovingly
Over the flexible glass,
My new phone at last!

stray cats housed at night
sandal keeps the door ajar

My heart is dreaming…
Eyes close caressing the dawn,
As this soul shines so bright.
