Abandoned

Nothing but silence
Her mind is lonely 
A shadow of the life that filled these floors
The beams are cracking because of the rain 
Her tears are always falling 
Everyone leaves one way or another
No one ever stays
Dust gathers across the walls
Wallpaper of neglect with spiderwebs 
Decorate her soul
The only life left in the darkest place 
Windows are there but hold no light
A multitude of cracks across them
and in her smile
Like an old factory 
She has been abandoned
For quite a while.
