Poem -

Are You Okay?

Are You Okay?

Are things bothering you, deep inside,
The world is too much and you just want to hide,
You keep it all in and you don't want to play,
Has anyone asked you are you feeling okay?

The divorced man, who doesn't see his child,
Unclear outcomes, when separation was filed,
Longing for a hug that would just make his day,
Has anyone asked him, is he feeling okay?

The woman who got pregnant, and had a stillborn,
From the outside a shell, but within she is torn,
To hold her live baby, she'd pay in any way,
Has anyone asked her, is she feeling okay?

The girl walking home, now her mouth fully taped,
Crying and screaming as she is getting raped,
She fought off her attacker, surviving for today,
Has anyone asked her, is she feeling okay?

A soldier overseas sees carnage and brutality,
Images fresh in his head, he returns to reality,
For removal of his nightmares, daily he would pray,
Has anyone asked him, is he feeling okay?

Some people you can notice, struggling with life,
Some people hide it well, a husband or wife,
I am a solid shoulder and i am not going away,
Even if you are alright, tell me about your day.

Are you serious? One of the biggest topics no one wants to talk about, is not voted by from any poets or anyone generally, I am presuming here that everyone is just hunky fucking dory!!!!!
