Blood Drawn

Let us be friends forever, as I prick my finger, and you do the same

We draw blood, and rub the two tips together, as the blood weeps and blends

We now, are no longer just two, but one in the same, our hearts will bleed

Our minds will think and dream, as we love, as we give, each drop of blood

It makes us who we are, then it takes over, and we fill with fire, desire for a journey

We hold hands, we walk upon these lands, the forest leads us to salvation

Freedom from all worries, no feeling like this, except when two meet, and bleed

For life is what you give, I give my heart, my blood, my flesh, and soul, as long

As every stone lay, I shall lay with you, in every breath, the walk, we take, nourish the earth

And we shall grow, the tallest pine, can never be as great, as my love for you this Valentine's Day

We carve our initials in the tree trunk, and sink our feet in the rivers running, soaking, our arms shiver for, the desire for more 

As we take the bear hide from your back, lay it down upon the ground, and breathe the pine, look into the sky, we see
