Bonne Lass

Copper eyes my bonne lass,
Lamented tisΒ bygonesΒ pass.
Sung sweetly a lovely ode,
Beauteous aria bestowed

Tides of change had begun,
Sowing seed wars that come.
Betrothed to foolish sod,
Repine to benevolent God

Milky daisies halo flaxen hair,
Beloved of aforetime warfare
Morrigu called truelove name,
A casualty of war, culprit blame

Celtic whispers tender kiss,
Pledged heart skips remiss.
Buried upon a grassy knoll,
Posy whereas grave shawl.

Love was laud, bonne lass,
Bereavement shall nary pass.
Patience darling, I will follow,
Oath aspires on wisp of 'morrow.
