A Bright Idea?

What could I be?
Well here's a clue...
In my home there are more than two.
Come and find me in the bedroom...
Then you can turn me on at night...
Strike the right spot...
Get it right!
Use your finger to give me flick...
And if that doesn't work then fire up your stick!
Rarely you visit me during the day,
And you wont turn me on if the bills are not paid....
On and off.....Up and down.....
This may seem like a glitch?
No, not at all as I am a light switch!
