Chance

Wish and fire
A hop and a run
One fleeting thing

A shining star
A racing comet
A fiver half-buried in the snow

A dash and a race
And I'm off again
In search of some legendary thing

What shines at night
What warms my heart
What happens to be missed

Of fays and dwarves
And all other legends

None more so than the tale of Chances
