A Chance?

You are sure of what you are doing, of that there`s no doubt
Sewing up your vagina, so your little baby can`t get out
We all know. the world is fucked up and gone awfully wild
Not at all, a great place, to bring up a your young child

  It is not the childs fault, you could not keep on your pants
  It`s none of my business, but all kids deserve one chance
  Life for you may not have been easy, you have had to fight 
  But don`t take away this kids life, what gives you the right?

To get by in life, you did become a whore
Easy way to make money, that is for sure
You lost your respect, part of you even died
You really were pethetic, you never even tried

  Smoking marijuana and snorting cocaine
  Why did you do it, will please explain?
  Now you are pregnant, feeling sorry for yourself
  Look at yourself, not a picture of good health?

Wake up to yourself lady,  it is never too late
Move away from this town or to another state
Get away from all the scum that you do attract
Get some self respect back and clean up your act

  Remember when today is over another shall dawn
  Give this kid a chance in life,  soon it will be born
  Learn from the mistakes you made, easy it won`t be
  But once this baby has been born you'll feel differently

Take my advice please and thank the God above
Once your babe is born you`ll remember how to love
In six months time you`ll not give your old life a glance
Happy to have a baby and to be giving it every chance

  I`m showing lots of confidence in you, there is no doubt
  So come on now, get a grip and rip them stitches out
  Keep away from all those pimps and big and  burly thugs
  Stay away from the alcohol and all them silly drugs

Of all the things you've done in life this is the biggest test
But I know that you can do it, I wish you all the very best
