Christ, a Girl?

Christ, a Girl?

Who would have thought
Christ could be a girl?
Not even Christ knew until now.
No one would believe
This average girl
Would save the world somehow.
He came down to die and to take her place
As a scapegoat he said not a word of disgrace.
But was perfect all through the ordeal,
She was there the whole timeĀ
And everything she could feel.
For they were always connected somehow.
She was daddy's little girlĀ
So he sent his son down.
She was lost and could not find her way.
So he would guide her after ascensionĀ
Then she would not be lead astray.
But the cloudiness filled her head
And the confusion set in,Ā
leaving her in dismay.
She first had to learn how toĀ
Return to love
For she became prideful
Before she became the dove.
But they got what they wanted in the end.
For the two halves of the heart to make a whole again.
Two lovers, two worlds
Two colours, two of a kind.
The physical world is just a state of mind.
But her mind was such a state!
In her own thoughts she'd suffocate.
Reaching out her hand for him to take
He was her oxygen
Her rectification of her mistake.
He took the fall, he gave His all
And the world shunned Him as they awaited her.
Yet she would never again exalt herself.
Everything she inherited she would share with him.
She would kneel at his feetĀ
For her heart he did win.
There truly is no love greater than this.
To give his own life for this spoilt little miss.
Her family were good
And patient and kind.
They dealt with her requests forĀ
Extensions of time.
Yet her Father's plan was perfect,
It was all just a game.
To learn how to loveĀ
And to put lady wisdom to shame.
The poor would be free
The stars would be saved
And those in the middle had truly misbehaved.
The builders had rejected
This cornerstone of hers
But all the more for her to love,
Her twin, the heart of the dove.
