Corpse Bride

Corpse Bride

A lady once
She dressed in white
A lover of nature
A star shining bright.
She agreed to marry
Her love one day
Her daddy said no
So they ran away.
He led her down a rabbit hole
And with every step
An item they stole
Until she found
she was in the black
Alone and naked
Finding it hard to keep track.
Her love had disappeared
Like a thief in the night
With all her possessions
They were nowhere in sight.
She looked down beside her
There led her body cold as ice
All bloodied and bruised
Too late to think twice.
She thought to herself
As she sat and cried,
"I should've listened to daddy
Then I wouldn't have died."
