It’s a lovely place where writers meet with one another
At first it’s just to write and then with time it’s more than just writing
as relationships are built and real friendships formed with each other
It’s not all about the contest or who wins as that’s not what makes it exciting
But more about what my friends think and who I touch with my words
A comment from them becomes an encouragement and a spur
A vote and a pin is just the push and tap to write more afterwards
Some days I don’t need to write as all I do is read others and concur
Then get inspired by what others have written and I get stirred
and before the day ends I’d realize a word or two in my head
Personally, a day without a visit is a day without end
For me, it’s not a competition but a relationship where the pen
unites people from different walks of life, countries and continents
With diverse styles, opinions, beliefs and religion
Nevertheless, everyone is special in his own way….prominent
And each write unique in its own way…not a smidgen

This is a wonderful piece sweetie and I agree with you too, this brought tears because I`m so very proud of you sweetie and also proud that you are my little girl too. I`ve been here for three years now and I still get excited when I get comments so that we can all keep in touch with each other and spur and enspire each other as well as entertain everyone.
