Deep in Winters Eye

The hunter feeds upon the elk the wolf feeds upon its remains
Our village covered in snowy mounds
Flames of ruby gold warm our whithered leatherlike hands
As we see within native spirits eye it frees us from disease
As the medicine man shakes the rattle from the snake
The fangs from his skull sway against his chest
The chant of mother natures flute through the pines
Blinding winds slow down our horses path
Howling wolves call to the blue moon in the ice mountain sky
And the rustle of rabbit in nearby brush cuddle to hide
Winters eye cold becomes a thaw of melting river turning anew spring waters of promise
