Life's course can be changed by a single event,

We never know when it's coming or what it's Intent.

A marriage breakup, due to an elicit affair,

our employment gets canceled, So the money's not there.

You need to deal with your problems, Face them head on.

Or your world will collapse, And all will be gone.

No place to go home to, As your friends slip away.

It can happen so quickly, Within the course of one day.

you could wake up one morning, Alone, And cold on the street,

Desperately hungry for something to eat.

As people walk by, Don't seem to care,

Don't give a glance, Don't Acknowledge your there.

None of them know just what you've been through,

As they take a wide birth, Quietly cursing,

Your place on this earth.

There's only two ways you can go from here,

Your choices are limited, That's very clear.

You can head for Oblivion, If you make the wrong choice,

only you have the power, The controlling voice.

As you rise like the phoenix from the ash's and dust,

The best option for you, It's simply a must.

Things can now only get better, They can't get worse.
