Dumping Patients

Dropped on the concrete sidewalk
No insurance and homeless

Left to the elements, the elderly
Treated like vermin over money

The hospital won't help these patients
And would rather use their security

To discard these vulnerable humans
When they think no one is looking

Bruised in purple and covered by a blanket
This is someone's mother, not a trash bag,

Not doing harm is their oath,
Until it gets in the way of their paycheck

Then they become like every other business,
As the sick sit and bleed on the streets,

The hospital gown is still on them.
Their own clothes are left in a blue bag.

Abandoned are these women and men
To die in agony and without compassion

What kind of America is this?
When we treat the vulnerable with such hatred.

There are some hospitals where this actually happening and it makes me sick to my core seeing people treated like this. Example ; https://youtu.be/rFJsFdgMkYE

It really is, it's like some people just don't care anymore.
