Empty

Put them first,
They need someone by their side.
But then who will be by yours,
You thought they would be,
But the answer is no one.
Empty, vacant, bare.
You try to reach the other side,
But each time it gets closer,
It becomes out of reach. 
You're always on the other side. 
You can't pass through. 
Alone.
Trying to fill the holes in your heart. 
Trying to fill the void. 
Everything bleeds through, 
Obvious that you're fooling yourself.
But yet you still try. 
You blame the others, 
Hate them even. 
Then you remind yourself that it's just you.
Why hate others,
When you can hate yourself? 
There must be something wrong with you. 
And then,
You're lost forever.
