ENCOUNTER

A brilliant flash of light
Disturbs me from my sleep
I make my way toward the window
Move the blinds to take a peep
The sky is clear
No clouds in sight
But all that I can see
Are the shadowy images
From moons reflections
Swaying in the breeze
There wasn't any thunder
To accompany what I'd seen
But this light was bright enough
To interrupt my dreams
Closing up the curtains
I try to forget what I saw
But these thoughts continue....
I feel myself....
Analyse it even more
Suddenly the hairs...
On my neck begin to stand
A chill fills my body
Pins and needles in my hands
I cannot move a muscle
As before me I can see...
An entity...
Not from this earth
Staring straight at me
I want to move...cry...and speak
All at the same time
But this being has me snared
With psychometrics...of the mind
These seconds feel like hours
Then he reaches out his hand
Iv'e never felt a fear like this
Terror-stricken by his command
Then another flash of light..
Brighter than the one before
Leaves me incoherent
As I faint and hit the floor
I wake up the next morning
Laying in that very place
This is my recollection...
With a being from outer space.
