Poem -
IN THE EYES OF A STORM...
The sullen giant slumps
Upon a sun burnt mountain rock
Head down
Mono frown
A single tear then drops
Above the crimson clouds
Cyclonic winds transpire
The cyclops storm
From one eye...born...
Assures the straights...are dire!
A guardian above....forlorn
Without warning
Worries...worn....
Tidal forces forged
Hurricanes then howl
Whilst the heavens sweep tears
From the cyclops brow...
The skies then allow
A thousand eyes
To enter ....as spies
For Argus to prowl..
Keen to observe
The giant...akin
Begins...
As he then
Throws caution to the wind..
And within....
The eye of the storm.
An ancient friendship
Is once again reborn...
