"Fervent Feathers"

"Fervent Feathers"

"She's got feathers in her hair.
I always knew that they'd stay there,
with the wind and the Sun,
gently pushing away,
all her worries and cares.
I've seen her,
time and time again,
leap from her favorite cliff,
when the weather was fair.

The spirit of an eagle,
with such abounding grace.
Just watching her fly,
my how it makes my heart race.

I know she'll always,
have those fervent feathers,
glistening in her hair,
and I know always,
when the weather is fair,
she will be charting the sky.
She will always be there."
