For the Love of Books
The pages bend, the pages turn
The book teaches, the mind learns;
Among the shelves, the author calls
The reader marches through the halls
And the pages bend, the pages turn
Fulfillment captures the tears and laughs,
But the book, the book fulfills my other half;
The tiny words, with their bold, scripted body's, project the personalities of indivduality,
and the pages bend, the pages turn
The end is near; the tears are shed
Sniffle and smile, as the reader read
The dawn awakens, but once again
When tears roll down, he will learn to fend
The pages bend, the pages turn
