Forevermore

Forevermore

Forevermore.
Living life as an afterthought
I drift as if I am eternal flotsam
Buffeted by lies and teardrops
Sleepwalking the torment never stops
A bridge between yesterday and today
In the grip of darkness every day
Counting pills,I alleviate the pain
Reaching for the razor blade again
Each cut releases memories
Each blood drop is a cure
Scars and anguish no one sees
Will I remain tainted forevermore.
