SOCIETY'S VIEW

SOCIETY'S VIEW

Growing is the greatest thing I've done, and when you're up against so many things, you only grow stronger....I own my life to God, for saving me for this day.....If I died tomorrow....I'll know the truth is out there and I hope it changes the systems that are ruining people's lives because they don't fit into the boxes.

SOCIETY’S VIEW

Guess what society wanted me to do
It wanted to mold me into a robot like everyone I knew
This is what society wanted from me every day
So, I broke all the rules and I had a mighty price to pay

Guess what society always tried to take
My mind and body as they nailed me at the stake
So, I called on the masters, that didn't follow rules
And they trained me not to be a puppet managed by other fools

Guess what society really wanted you to see
A broken spirit, broken soul, each time they crucified me
But, my angels, guess what happened to me instead
God gave me more courage and brought me back from the dead

Society couldn’t fit me into their little box
I controlled my mind, and removed all the labels and locks
Society didn’t care that they took my life away
And I vowed a mighty comeback, here is where I’ll stay

So, guess who is the master now of my soul and mind
It is God, he is my guardian and I write about him all the time
And like my pain he was invisible, so society couldn't see
That I was protected by a far greater force and they couldn't break me
