mr ghost moon
he smirks at my reflectionΒ
through a small windowΒ
sleeping winterΒ
spring dreams of summer
until fall awakensΒ
waters rise
and loud screamsΒ flood
the valley
dancing in the woods
every leaf falls, red for today,
empty tomorrowΒ

Not if no one is there to see it. The people dancing are symbolised through the red leaves, once they have all fallen. It means that everyone has left. So by the next day there are no leaves nor dancers just an empty tree.

Welcome, I like putting hidden symbolism in sometimes, to encourage people to think deeply and not just take things at face value.
I don't agree meaning is hidden. It takes perspective and intuition. I love the poems that deserve good analysis!

To me, ( before NASA ruined it), the face that you could see on the moon looked maleΒ
