The Hills Are Alive

The Hills Are Alive

Hilltops sing, they make me dance, Maria, makes me laugh

To hold on to a dream, to see the valleys below, to climb

My favorite things, raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens

The Abbey has brought me, to this land of love, but I must live

Edelweiss, every morning you greet me, small and white, clean and bright

You are so happy to meet me, climb every mountain, forge every stream

The hills are alive, with the sound of music, as I hold the children, love the man

And simply fly with the wind, I begin to dream
