Hollow Be Thy Name

I know too way much
about life
and other trivialities

I feel way too little
about the pain
of humanity

...and now 

for a blast of irony

People come to me
from far and wide

cause I know all the cliches

trite little nuggets
served up daily

It all makes me seem
wiser than I really am

Truth be told

I am a hollow man
