I am a flower
Because I am a flower
Venerable, and weak,
But strong enough to grow
In all places people never thought
I would,
I am a healing
I live in a day dream,
I am the sunlight,
And in all storms and shadowy days
Packed clouds and rain,
I will fight.
Because I am a flower,
My dear I seek.
My heart burns with passion,
Adventure, desire, desperately wanting more,
Needing love and attention
Needing beauty,
Of all places I’d just like to see.
But don’t dare take me
And tare me apart
My dearest mother earth,
Because I am a flower
Venerable and weak.
Yes, I am a strong believer,
And I see beyond these mountains
And rocks, and scars- there is water,
There is more,
I want to stay forever there,
Because I am a free spirit,
 I am a beautiful flower
Wanting to be set free.
But desperately I held
Onto something
That never existed,
I held onto hope
A dream,
A fantasy
A picture in my head.
There was water yes,
But yet not enough for me.
A chance I took,
Over the rocks and mountains
I grew, thousands of miles,
But I wasn’t strong enough,
I was just venerable and weak,
My pedals dashed and divided
Into a million pieces,
Into the unknown
So I fell and I died.
