I am Lost

I am Lost

Where the roads begin, they also end, and when I come to that end

I am lost, rocky, bumpy, even muddy, I find myself in a puddle

And I can not swim, I shall drown in my own sorrow, but I will be lifted

By the spirits of the sky, I shall come to the moment of time, where I live

And my soul will be hungry, I shall sprout, like the seed in a planted place

I shall breathe once again, I shall love the sun, and I shall feel the heat of growth

Where the flower blooms, I will follow the scent, and I will travel the path of the spirit

The Cherokee magic will come to the earth, it will heal the moment of envy, and I shall sing

In the path of the fields, of the grass, where my forefathers walked in this valley

I am no longer lost, but instead I am free, and I will not be lost in this world anymore
