I wanted to express my heart
What it felt deep down inside
My words refused to be spoken
Only tears that silently cried

I dared not speak or say

To express in some meaningful way
My eyes searched for a way to tell
In a language that could not be heard
I could not speak or make a sound
Or utter a single word
You came breaking through the silence
You came to rescue me
In a language only my heart understood
Your love healed and set me free
I've been released from silent torment
I've been set free from a painful past
Glory hallelujah
I am free at last
Now I have a message
Now, I have something to tell
What couldn't break me, made me stronger
