If at all one would ever...

If at all one would ever
make a spoof on life...
Just think once of the mother,
who has lost her son
in the battlefield of honor.
salutes, maybe a medal
and away he's done
as tears surface for words
and the Sun sets forever,
she is left to bereave;
with a surmise that turns solace,
that he won his death
for his folks,for his land.
his was a fall for glory
and his end,an epithet grand.
If at all one would ever
make a spoof on life...
Just think once of the guy
who's blind for you and me
lunettes of his; veiled.
His life caged in darkness
with every dream held hostage
the day they hatch to bloom.
He has a penchant to explore
the world that seems so flat,
so majestic yet so mean
for smothered with empathy
his world has always been.
If at all one would ever
make a spoof on life...
Just think once of the child-
an odd 'bastard' for the world.
A heir of nameless genes,
a fruit of planned deceit.
A feat of mutual pleasure,
achieved but not received.
He is born to be plunged,
in the deluge of disgrace.
he will bleed sans sting
for he grows with the truth,
too many bruises to tender
before the morrow's bout of ruth.
If at all one would ever
make a spoof on life...
Just think once of the harlot
the one in a bordello
down the street of the fallen.
Each day starts with dusk
as she quenches thirst of lust,
for a price,to say suffice.
Her flesh is an angel,
to the mouths that she fends
so she lives her today
out of practice,out of will
by etching memories on water,
the life's unsold skill.
