THE LADYBUG

This ladybug of black and red

Had a few words he needed to shed

"I may be a bug and I can fly"

"But you call me a 'lady' when I'm really a guy!"

And I realize this all may come as a shock

Guess it's better I speak now than hide under my rock?

So before I leave, hope I don't sound absurd?

I prefer the name 'Ladybug' over 'Ladybird!'
