“Letters to Juliet”

“Letters to Juliet”
Although, you are no longer in our presence,
here on God’s green earth,
I wish to write you and continuously inform you,
your value, here it’s worth.
There’s not a day go by, that thoughts of you,
is'nt spoken of, are re-kindled,
If I could turn back, the hands of time,
you’d be home again, for death I’d swindle.
Easy come, easy go, the story was unfortunately
written and told to be so,
The amount of sorrow, since your departure,
you'll never get a chance to ever know.
In the wee hours, of the lonesome nights and
the early moments, of our waking day,
There is many unmentioned, yet passionate speak not’s
and things I need, to you say.
We miss you ow-so much in our lives
and hurt, from the worse of way,
If God would allow, just one moment with you,
these things, I would with passion convey.
A blue jay perched, near my window today
and through the window, peered to my dismay,
Of all the birds, it could have been, it happened to be,
your favorite one, the Blue Jay.
A letter each day, was my promised to you,
the saddest of days, we both said our goodbyes,
The love I lost, I will never feel, for another again,
that day, I was forced to watch you die.
Words can’t explain, all the hurt and deep pains,
to have watched you slowly slip away,
The bounty I would still give, to have seen you live,
in that early morning month, of May.
The feelings we once shared, our hearts we did bare,
as we pondered our walks, hand and hand.
Yet now you are gone and I left alone, with reasons,
of your departure, not known to man,
My minutes turn now to hours and on cloudy days,
of torrential showers, my tears outweigh the rain,
Your sweet pictures, they dare, to call to me, I do swear,
adding insult, to injury, loneliness and pain.
Tonight, I will sleep again but without my dear friend,
just another, in the collection of many before,
Though my door will remain open, your name,
forever to be spoken and Like the rain, my tears will pour.
Tomorrow brings another day but tonight I must pray,
for the remembrance, of a love forever now lost,
Though sleep, will take a while, all I have is a memory of a smile,
yet my heart once warm, now harbors frost……… …to be continued....

Hello Nardine,
Thank you for the well delivered complement and I do accept quite dearly. I truly enjoy your works as well and when I construct my time more wisely, I will give credit to all of yours, for the comments on your wonderful poems, by me, is well over due....You commented on a poem Williamji dedicated to Valerie Lynn, that I was reading just the other day, which sentiments, I second and render, whole heartedly. Your words in this comment, were the same one I had etched in head but had no time to put on paper but when I observed yours, it was as if, you had read my mind and completed physically, that, which I mentally had not the opportunity to bestow…Your poems again, is amazing and i enjoy their read and plan on commenting on all that is written…
Take Care,
Jim
Jimmy Arnold, val is an amazing writer, i haven't had the opportunity to know her that long, but can clearly feel her strength and loving soul in her writing , thank you for the complements, great hearts feel alike, i am happy you are enjoying reading my work, look forward to your comments, as i shall be spending some time reading your writes also, i love this one"Letters to Juliet” its great work:), much love nardine xx
Nardine,
Thank you Nardine and their will be an abundance of these, at least up until I find some means of her return from beyond...Valerie is a close and dear friend and writes from a true life source, (the essence of her heart) and her soul mate, (Jason Luke) and friend of mine as well, both of their hearts, beat in, (rhythmic) unison as one. Once again I thank you and your poems, (to me) are riddle with, a lot of what ifs and allows the reader to form their own judgment but on the same token lays out what would transpire, if the wrong selection, is to be choosing, if life, was allowed to be taken for granite......Wonderful subjects are yours to have been chosen to write on... Within your poems, for all individual things in life, brings with it, its own purpose, in order to benefit us all…
Cheers,
Jim
