Longing

Longing

My love, I feel your voice touching my soul

Our naked hearts, the eagle soars, for I am longing

For your return, the hunt be over, the winter too long, I am tired

Where are you spirit of my sky, the days so dreary, without you by my side

Longing, for your love, your touch, my body next to yours, the drums beat in my heart

Your soul need return in the spring, I will wait for the flight, into the new dawn

As the snow flies, then melts my tears, and the drifts fall into a river of lust

Longing for you, to caress me once again, the waiting no more, just holding on

Longing, a fond memory tucked away, in the great horned owls beak, as he looks for your breath

The longing no more
