Longing to cradle 

Another appointment
Another nurse
Another blood test
This ain't the first 

Another gown
Another scan
Another tear
This wasn't the plan

Another tablet
Another needle
Another fake smile
Hiding the pain I feel

Another heart broke
Another tear shed
Another "let's keep going"
But I just hide in my bed

Another fresh day
Another prayer to keep strong
Another baby embryo unfrozen
To be put back were it belongs
