Lost On Me

Lost On Me

I had flashbacks of the day we first met
The nickname I gave you
The kisses you blew and I would catch
how I wish I could go back to that
Back to the start
Before you tore down and broke my heart

I felt like I was losing who I was
Who I became to be
I was so caught up with loving you
I forgot to love me
Making you happy
Was my number one priority

It took me a month to erase our pictures
From my camera roll
My soul feels like it was shot
And left behind is a bullet hole
I loved you
I don’t think I was in love with you
Am I bad for saying that
Is it wrong
It felt like you weren’t the missing piece
My heart was searching for to belong
