Memories Of Mine

Remember the time
We got drunk on wine
Georgia covered in snow
Nowhere that we could go
The snow was waist deep
Beer and Doritos were cheap
Remember that silly trashbag fight
Can't believe I stayed mad all night
Your pants up to your armpits comedy skits
All those poor pumpkins I just had to kick
The luck I had when you gave me a pen
Watching the braves play
My first live baseball game
The poker game you still say you won
When you didn't quit till you rescued my phone
The Irish car bombs we bought
Doing donuts in all the parking lots
Your pouty face when you drove that red rental
The night I fell asleep in the tub , I know you remember .
To California on a airplane
I almost ended up getting my train
That Mississippi monsoon
The promotion you finally made it too
The smile on your face that day
And again in your first trip in your mercadise
And when it was my birthday
You guys sang me karaoke
Happy birthday darlin
I couldn't stop smiling
Jumping waves in the ocean
Mr outlaw and me and them damn scorpions
When you saved our life on the highway
Excuse us diesel we'll just get out of your way
Of all of these memories I still have today
They help comfort me , but I wish you weren't going away
Atleast these memories of mine
Will last my lifetime
