Metanoia

Metanoia

I reminisce to when I glimpsed her hallowed shade
Afore her eyes had sunk into the sands of shore
Where shadows dance and love is cast astray
Betwixt a towering vale, the meander flows

She clutched my hand and spun my crown
To brazen the tomb, acquiescence spades
In a residuum of stone below tainted ground
For I had trod alone through my despair

She reveals the fire, then descends my soul
To heal the lustrous gem and away the cluster blows
In sacred ruins, her silence speaks
As the wildflower blooms from the air she breathes

By the orb of asclepios, I descry a solar flame
In warring clouds absorbing, as she exudes the rain
