Midnight Fox

Children's Poem

Midnight Fox

Midnight fox
Where are you off?
All dressed up
Orange coat
White socks

I didn't see you at first
As you don't make a sound
You look up
And then scatter
When people are around

Midnight fox
No need to fear
No need to run away
When I get near

I just wanted to say
You look ever so nice
And that I'd never heard of scrubbing up
Just to catch some mice
