MY CORE

To enter my core, see just what's inside,

penetrate my layers, I''l show you all five,

my heart is my essence, filled with passion and drive.

Red and raw, lustful and bold,

tightly embraced by a layer of gold,

the one thing I trust will never turn cold..

Gold is the casing that envelopes me,

secure and safe by a layer of green,

pure and bright, calm and serene..

Green is the way my core can renew,

repairing itself when I'm feeling blue,

replenishing so I can always push through..

Blue is the calmness and stillness I lack,

the outermost layer protected from black,

the easiest layer for you to attack..

Black is surrounding and trying to seek,

a way to my heart where it once had a peek,

as I know on it's own... my core would be weak..
