My lady, My Love

A million miles from you my love
Rebellious of my jealousy
Walking dazedly alone, without you
Is it sea and space that draws the line?
Nay, law is what separates our love
Damn this waiting!
To see you again, to feel you again
Our precious captured moments
Take away my breath
My love, I cannot speak
My love, I cannot breathe
The absence of your love
Lays heavy like steel on my heart
I tremble, and hold back my tears
I am not ready to cry yet
For I have not lost you
We were awake in the night
And whilst the city slept
You sang a lullaby to me
That I will never forget
I have our pictures in a box
On my shelves
And in my thoughts
Staying sane is hard
I must write of you
Pain becomes power
As my words keep you alive
So here we are again
My prayer for tonight
Counting down the days
My love, Goodnight

really enjoying your words... your poems are beautiful ..... this lady must be so special to you two beautiful poems about her. xxx
Nice interpretation, what makes you think it's the same woman? x
perhaps i am wrong, i believe reading them more, the first is where your heart is the second is where you think it is. x
