Never Too Many Hats

There once was a purple frog, who wore a hat to protect him from the fog

When the fog came in, the frog began to swim, then put on his fog proof suit

Another hat he wore in vain, whenever it would start to rain

He would put on his rain bonnet and sit on top of a mushroom head under a walnut tree, where he made his bed

Many thought he was crazy, but no one else could have fun with all of his magic

When the wind whirled in, the purple frog would put on his goggles and helmet, this made him look like a biker

He felt like he was riding in the wind, when Spring time arrived he would put on a beret

This made him feel like an artist, painting pictures of flowers and lily pads and dragon flies

Getting ready for his next surprise, he fell in love with the frog next door, and to impress her, he wore a tux and a top hat at that

Wining and dining her with a minnow dinner, the two of them fell head over webbed feet

Got married and had many colorful tadpoles, purple, blue, yellow, pink and even green!

Well now the moral of this story is, it is never too many hats you wear

Like a true Scout, you must always be prepared!
