A New Path I Shall Find

Never to look back again, never to know the hurt, never to know the pain

The blood droppings, they now, fade away, into the dust, into the wind that passes

A new path I shall find, looking into the sunset, finding the horizon of a greater tomorrow

The decades have driven us away, into the road that we must follow, unto the trees of peace

We shall find the light of the sun, we shall find a new love, in our hearts, in the wet of the rivers

Where we shall never part, only an evil spirit, could take us to a burial ground

The phantom of our native voice, is following, speaking to our mother of earth, as she sings

Bringing the sound of the beating drum, where we dance in a righteous path

A new path I shall find, our voices will join, our song, shall echo, into the mountains of a new year

Where there shall not be a tear, of death, but a tear, of life, from our face, it is painted, for victory

No love, or faith, or hurt, can change, the path of the future, will be ours to come home to, as we live in the calm of the wild

Where the gray wolf, will drink from the purest of our water, from the hand of our first born child
