Night - time gifts

At night my life's love,creates tears in my eyes 
They fall,just as soon as she climbs into bed, 
The sheets cover & cascade her beautiful body
The words,she loves me, a surprise after all said, 
She climbs into be,leaning over to kiss me 
Sank deep in the pillow,finds her page in her book, 
I glance over & admire the surprise that surrounds
With half of a smile, raised eyebrow & that look, 
You're down to earth ways,we're hidden at the start 
Something in your teeth or burp,you hid so well, 
It took time but you opened up, showed the real you
You were embarrassed, I joked the respect for you fell, 
You're free gift kept me warm, lightened up the night
Sometimes so strong,masterfully bring tears to my eyes, 
I loved that you trusted me when vulnerable & free
Respect for your gift,being your farts so free & my surprise!
