Now lie in it

I made my bed today 
I didn’t want to leave a mess
As weird as it sounds, I just didn’t want to leave any more stress

I made my bed today but it felt like it wasn’t the same
I made like it didn’t belong to anyone, lay your head without a name
In just a day you made the world a different place
For me to live in, without your face

I made my bed today and smiled as I looked back
Knowing one last thing you would have to do, I don’t want you feeling bad
Tonight when you lay i hope you know you did right 
For I’ll have tears on my pillow, as I think of you all night
