One Sided Game

Feeling Broken

One Sided Game

In a world of darkness, her heart was torn,
For in his eyes, she felt so forlorn.
She gave her all, with love so sincere,
But his selfish ways, caused her great fear.

She wept in silence, concealing her woe,
Her pain hidden deep, never letting it show.
He saw her as a monster, so unjust,
Blinded by his own arrogance and mistrust.

She was but a shadow, while he took the light,
Her worth diminished, her spirit in plight.
She sacrificed everything, gave him her all,
Yet in return, he let her stumble and fall.

Accusing her falsely, tarnishing her name,
He played a dangerous and hurtful game.
She stood by him faithfully, through joy and strife,
But he cared not for her, nor valued her life.

She had no importance, in his selfish view,
Her dreams and desires, he'd never pursue.
He played with her emotions, twisted her thoughts,
Leaving her feeling broken, tied in knots.

How could he be so cold, so utterly cruel,
While she stayed loyal, like a faithful jewel?
She deserved better, a love pure and true,
Not this heartless man, who caused her to rue.

In the end, she'd rise, like a phoenix from ash,
Breaking free from the chains of his toxic clash.
For love should be nurturing, kind, and sincere,
Not a one-sided game, fueled by fear.

So let her find solace, let her heart mend,
With strength and resilience, she'll transcend.
No longer a puppet, under his control,
She'll find herself, and reclaim her soul.
