Pain Letting Go

Pain Letting Go

Looking at your face, I feel you looking back at me.
The damage just your image brings to my day,
Feeling me full of hatred and creating demons.
I remember beingĀ just a kid of only thirteen,
And in your sick and twisted mind I was
A sexual thing.

Sometimes when I close my eyes, still to this day,
I remember getting into your truck to run-away
To a place you said would be safe. To work on lawn
mowers and small engines. But instead you got me
drunk and made me pee on you.

I remember when I seen you carrying rope I thought
To myself, "I hope that's not for me" but it was.
You said, "we find pleasure in pain" I didn't even fight you.
My wrist tied together, my legs to the bed, I can still feel
Your whiskers poking me, I can still feel your hands choking
me.

Haunted

Stillness in the air,
A moonless night and whispers,
From above my head.
