Peggy Doll

Peggy Doll

Shhh, don't let them hear as she shuffles around,
their Peggy Dolls up with her feet on the ground.
She's hiding behind Granny's old rocking chair,
that moves by itself even though she's not there.
Her childish like giggles still linger the room,
and then there's that smell just like Granny's perfume.
She'll come knock knock knocking on each bedroom door,
just like their Granny did way back, before.
Then over and over she'll whisper that tune,
singing, Grandma, dear Grandma please come home real soon.
As the night settles in she doesn't mean any harm,
but soon they'll join Granny on that weird funny farm.

I like it, I had a Peggy doll, I cut off her hair and put her in the garbage, she was a big as me, and I was about four years old,  dolls and spooky..
