Pied Piper

Pied Piper

Rodent fodder such disdain
Ravenous tis glorious reign
Picked clean to the bone
Sanguine awash on cobblestone

Pied Piper, pitch follows
Besieging Sleepy Hollows
Laying ruin to towns aplenty
In the year of our Lord 1420

Grave tis twilight to fall
Twote a melodious call
Whispers soft on sultry air
Ushering plague a bane to bear

Come children let us pray
Grim Reaper yearns to stay
As townfolk purge by night
He leads asunder from a blight
