Playing With Fire

Playing With Fire

Tall, dark, and handsome, a real Romeo at that, stole my heart

Took me, blinded, I could not let go, a married man, a lover's lust

Playing with fire, emotions, the rush, the fear, the tears, the forbidden sin

When would it ever end, one day, the flame went out, he cut my wrists

It hurt inside, the phone went dead, and so did I, blinded by forsaken love

He set me free, I now am glad, for two wrongs don't make a right, its bliss

No longer the hiding, the escaping, the closets filled with skeletons now

No more the sinful kiss, the demon, has driven me away, no longer do I play

Playing with fire, will only get in the way
