The Power Of Time
Time seems to heal
At a gradual pace
Putting the painful
Past into place.
The burden of agony
In the heat of the moment
Having no end
The eternal torment....
Crushes the present
In the palm of your hands
Creating a future
With no legs to stand.
As the pendulum swings
Another moment concludes
A second gone by
Then an hour or two
And soon you realize
The power...
Time exudes.
