Reunited 

I find myself standing at a crossroads
Unsure which way to go
Coming out of the darkness 
I hear a voice I would always know
I hear my mother calling 
To guide me towards the light
She has the face of an angel 
A most amazing sight
She said Son don’t be afraid  now
There’s nothing for you to fear
I’ve always been beside you
Through every passing year
I was with you through all your dark times
I felt every moment of your joy
You’ve always been my baby 
My beautiful darling boy
Now we will always be together 
Never more to be apart
Your life is not now ending
It’s only just about to start 
Your wife and your children
Found it hard to let you go
As they’ve loved you for so long now
As you surely know
They didn’t want to see you suffer 
Or go through any pain
But they know one day they will join you
When we all finally meet again
As we join with our creator 
No more heartache fear or pain
Our life on Earth is fleeting 
Compared to what’s to come
Hold my hand and come and join me
Come and sit down by my side
Heavens is our home now
The place where we reside
